Ray-Thomas Memorial Presbyterian Church

Ray-Thomas Memorial offers a Community Food Bank for individuals and families in urgent need in our Tri-County area.  They support families through Cobb County school social workers, through referrals from MUST Ministry, and through self-referral. 

The RTM Food Pantry is open on Thursday mornings from 10 – 12 noon. Walk ins are welcome, but it is highly recommended recipients call ahead no later than noon on Tuesday of the week they need food to make an appointment: 770-998-9321, ext. 221.

St. Ann’s Catholic Church

MUST Ministries

MUST addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children with facilities in the Cobb and Cherokee counties and programs in numerous other counties. MUST brings people of many faiths together to respond to God’s challenge to minister to others with compassion and love, without judgment of the beliefs, background or circumstances of those who serve or are being served.

Legal Assistance

Atlanta Legal Aid

Since 1924, Atlanta Legal Aid Society has offered free civil legal aid (housing, consumer, family & health) for low income people across metro Atlanta. With five neighborhood offices, three offices in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals, three county courthouse projects, a variety of self-help clinics, and countless community education programs, Legal Aid lawyers and volunteers reach tens of thousands of people annually.

The Center for Family Resources

The Center for Family Resources is a Cobb County-based organization that works exclusively to serve local families and individuals that are either homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.

Services Offered:

  • Multiple short-term housing programs
  • Life skills classes on topics such as budgeting, parenting, and identifying toxic relationships
  • A job lab to assist with career searching, resume writing, and interview coaching
  • GED prep program that provides one-on-one coaching and group classes
  • An on-site food pantry with fresh produce and breads, a wide variety of canned goods, and other essentials like diapers, infant formula, and personal hygiene items
  • Local mobile food distribution events for pre-registered clients in specified neighborhoods
  • Employee Assistance Program management for local companies
